Not Fair

Just the other day, one of my friends tried to match me to her friend, and if I didn't get wrong that guy is a 50-something widower with grownup kids in USA. I don't have any prejudice with the gentleman since I never met him, but I feel sorry about the situation people put me in.

Yes, I am turning into 40 and I feel comfortable with myself!

How come people think those single old men still are valuable, but single ladies are pathetic and got to do her a favor to find somebody for the poor old lady. Men always get what they want, young and fabulous women for them, but old women have to accompany with a much older devoiced man or a widower.

Not fair at all.

It has been a long time since I logged in last time!

Now I have another cat named Smoky, he is a very very naughty one!

He joined my family last May, and became a big boy now.

2007 High Speed Rail trip

For celebrating Mom & Dad's 50th Anniversary of Golden Marriage, I took them to experience High Speed Rail and travel to Kaohsiung and Tonglong Temple whcih Mom alwasy wants to pray there again.

But I never expected that Hilai Hotel would devote that much for us! Finally I drove Tiida 1.8 arriving hotel after lost in city for one hour, they were waiting us at entrance with beautiful roses bouquet and escort us to our room 2609 directly for checking in. (Of course, Mom asked to take pictures at lobby already!) Then another surprise in room, a delicate hand-made card, cream cheese cake with chocolate board writing 50th Anniversary of Golden Marriage congratulations and a bottle of red wine! My parents were so happy! Especially my mom, she was totally in raptures! Hotel crew introduced the card and wish us a wonderful stay(we already in a wonderful stay), then Mom kept asking me to take photos for her and Dad.

After we visited Tonglong Temple and had dinner, we arrived at hotel approx. 9:00pm. I found there was a photo stood on table, the picture we took this noon at lobby. How sweet they are! We were so excited about enjoying cake and wine and some dishes we brought back. Not only photo shooting, but also telepone calling, Mom called every one who she could find till 10:30pm.

Next morning it was raining, we walked around swimming pool but gave up swimming due to bad weather. After a short break at room, (I went to sauna myself) we were head for the largest shopping mall in South-East Asia, Dream Mall. There were so crowded, people came to shopping and having lunch insides; we ate lunch till 2:00pm, I was so starving...

Carrying lots of wonderful memories, we were back to taipei. I took a lots of picutures for them and really appreciated for what Haili Hotel crew had done for us. I think there is nothing better than this line, "I will be back"!

2006 Summer, Japan

Taking too many photos and enjoyed a lot of cusine, it is too good to be true as a trip to Japan this summer. Only my butt hurt reminded me that I was in the long journey, cause I had to spend 6 hours on the train every day during traveling around Japan. Well, it could save lots money of transportation for a budget-traveler.

Due to I was out of town for a couple days on an errand, Lucky became crush on my father recently. She alwasy stays around him if he is at home. This situation makes me a little upset, because I am the one took her home and took care of and spent a lot of money on her... Honestly speaking, it did hurt my feeling somehow. But, she loves my dad, well, I can accept that. He is my idol...^__^...

See, she tried to stay around and just sat in the slippers cause she didn't like to sit on floor directly.

Escape

My cat, Lucky, she is always trying to reach the outside world. She enjoys the moments while staying at the window to see birds flying by and listen to their singing. Sometimes, she even tries to grab them, of course it doesn't work.

She likes to sit beside the screen window of our bathroom as well since there is another black street cat coming to see her sometimes. But after I saw they tried to scratch each other between the screen window, I realized that they were fighting not playing around only. Hey! The black kitty named Kiki who is one of mine too, no, I mean she is a street cat but I feed her everyday as well. And she led my sweet Lucky to me one and a half years ago. I didn't know they don't get alone now... Maybe because of jealous? Cause Kiki always asks me playing with her after she finished her dinner.

One day, the screen window finally broken to a huge hole, Lucky was missing! We did a lot of work to bring her back and my dad put a wood board nailed on the broken screen window. After that day, Lucky became this way...
